Designed for studio creators, the amaran Ray 660c is a 660W full-colour COB light with integrated AC power. It features a streamlined, monolight-style design powered by a single AC cable, making it the first full-colour COB in its power class. The light engine offers enhanced colour spectrum with expanded red and blue ranges for cleaner whites, truer skin tones, and more accurate colour. With up to 38,500 lux output at 1m, it is the highest-output amaran COB light available.
The amaran Ray 660c also offers DMX control via USB-C, IP54 weather-resistant design, adaptive control with FlowTurn knob, and instant pairing to the amaran app via built-in NFC. It has a wide adjustable colour temperature range, green-magenta adjustment for colour-accurate skin tones, and full colour control with HSI and RGB modes. The light is compatible with Bowens Mount modifiers, features a yoke design for precise rotation, and offers 12 lighting FX modes. With a simplified menu screen and wireless app control, the amaran Ray 660c is ideal for home studios and on-location spaces that require powerful, studio-quality lighting.

Powered by the OmniColour light engine, the amaran Ray 660c reproduces light that looks true-to-life – both on camera and to the eye. Building on amaran’s previous full-colour chipset, OmniColour expands the red and blue ranges to deliver a fuller, more balanced spectrum of light – achieving SSI scores of 87 (Tungsten) and 80 (D56). What you see is what you capture: cleaner whites, truer skin tones, and more accurate colour that stays consistent on camera.
