The Remus II 50mm lens features a 1.5x constant squeeze ratio, making it ideal for capturing anamorphic images. The lens has an image circle of 36x24mm, supporting 3:2 full frame shooting. It also has a PL/EF interchangeable mount, allowing for versatility in different camera setups.
Weighing only 1.57 lbs/ 716g, the Remus II is ultra lightweight and easy to handle. It is marked in both metric and imperial measurements for convenience. Despite the upgrades in image quality, the lens still maintains its vintage anamorphic character, providing a distinctive look that made the original Remus lens popular.
