The DXTX 5-Pin XLR Stereo Adapter is designed to mount to the Deity THEOS DXTX using the two screws. This adapter allows the DXTX to record a stereo microphone source. DXTX 5-Pin XLR Stereo Adapter is made out of a Neutrik ECM XLR connector. This connector give enhanced RF screening for critical applications in live performance and recording where there are higher levels of radio transmission or RFI. The design guarantees a continuous RF shield connection from the microphone to the chassis connector housing via a circular capacitor around the shield.

About the Deity THEOS DXTX Plug-on Transmitter
The Deity DXTX is a cutting-edge plug-on transmitter designed for professionals seeking uncompromising audio quality and flexibility. It offers simultaneous 32-bit float recording and wireless transmission, ensuring pristine audio capture without the need for meticulous gain staging. Equipped with a Neutrik locking XLR input, the DXTX accommodates a wide range of microphones, providing 48V phantom power for condenser mics and 5V bias for electret mics. Its onboard microSD recorder supports cards up to 128GB, offering ample storage for extended recording sessions.
Designed for versatility, the DXTX operates across a broad UHF spectrum from 550MHz to 960MHz, with a maximum RF output of 100mW, ensuring reliable transmission even in challenging environments. The device features an analogue limiter to prevent clipping during transmission, while preserving the integrity of the 32-bit float recordings. Its dual AA battery configuration provides up to 14 hours of operation, and the USB-C port allows for external power options, catering to various production needs.
The DXTX integrates seamlessly with Deity’s BitConnectifyTM 2.0 technology, enabling remote control via Bluetooth up to 250 feet. This feature allows users to adjust settings, monitor battery status, and control recording functions without physically accessing the device. The full-colour display offers clear visibility of operational parameters, and the external SMA antenna ensures optimal signal strength. Additionally, the DXTX is firmware updatable, ensuring it remains current with the latest technological advancements.
Ideal for filmmakers, broadcasters, and content creators, the Deity DXTX offers a robust solution for high-quality audio capture. Its combination of advanced recording capabilities, flexible power options, and remote control functionality makes it a valuable asset in any professional audio setup. Whether used on a boom pole, handheld, or integrated into a larger system, the DXTX delivers reliable performance and exceptional sound quality.
Record + Transmit XLR
The DXTX can be mounted on a boom pole via it’s unique boom pole mount (sold separately). When paired with the XLR Link cable (sold separately), the DXTX is the perfect boom pole transmitter because of its lightweight nature and external antenna.
Being able to record true 32-bit float means the boom microphone’s audio signal is being recorded in the most RAW format possible.
32-Bit Float Protection
No one wants to be lazy. But sometimes you physically can’t monitor your recordings. 32-Bit gives you peace of mind that your audio won’t clip or be recorded too low.
Now you can go into post production knowing that you recorded everything, the first time.
Global OneBand™ Technology
Operate anywhere in the world with the same gear. No more buying single “bands” or “blocks” of wireless gear.
THEOS allows you to use nearly any legal frequency in your country and if you travel, your gear will adapt to the new destinations rules and regulations regarding frequency and RF power.
No longer are you stuck confined to a single “band” of frequencies you’re allowed to use.
Incredible Battery Life
XLR TX units are notorious for poor battery life. The DXTX run over 14 hrs with a dynamic handheld microphone.
When pairing the DXTX with lithium AA batteries, the unit is able to run HOURS beyond most needs.
Large Colour Screen
There is so much going on during a shoot that “giving up control and having 100% faith” in your audio recorder is too much of a gamble.
Having a large colour screen means you can rest assured that you know exactly what is going on during your production.
Analog Limiter
Life can get loud but that’s no excuse for clipped and distorted audio. The DXTX features a built-in analogue limiter that prevents loud sounds distorting the 24-bit transmission signal.
Now the transmitted audio will sound just as good as the on-board 32-bit float recording.
Incredible Wireless Range
At 50mW, the DXTX is able to transmit over 150 meters easily. Internal testing shows that our wireless is capable of transmitting 100 meters even at 20mW.
The DXTX matches wireless equipment 500% more expensive.
Timecode
Sync your audio in mere seconds with your other media sources.Waveform syncing is… fine. But when your subject is further than 15 ft away, the very speed of sound now affects your lip sync.
Timecode means you’re always going to be bang on with your sync at the start of every clip.
Remote Control via Sidus Audio App
The app allows you to perform frequency scanning and frequency assignment, frequency coordination between multiple receivers, gain staging, and remote triggering of the backup recorder. This means you can make adjustments to your audio settings without having to physically touch the device, making it easier to work with when you’re on set.
The remote control feature is especially useful for filmmakers who need to work with multiple devices or those who need to make adjustments to their audio settings quickly. It saves time, and it ensures that you never miss a critical moment on set.
Custom Antennas
Depending on your frequency choice, you’ll need to cut your antenna to an exact length. Luckily, we’ve got a tutorial walking through this process.
