The Freefly Wave offers unlimited capture time, as the clip length is only limited by the size and space of the SSD. There is no need for a trigger setup, as recording can be easily started and stopped with the push of a button. With integration to the Mōvi Pro, recording can even be controlled from up to 2500ft away. This small, light, and robust camera is the perfect package for any shoot, with a runtime of 1.5 hours and non-volatile storage that is power-down safe. Say goodbye to rolling shutter artifacts with the global shutter, and easily adapt to different lens mounts with the locking E-Mount.

The Freefly Wave is designed to be the most efficient high-speed camera available, with unique capabilities for capturing shots that were not previously possible. This handheld bundle comes with accessories for easy run and gun shooting. With maximum FPS of 422 at 4K resolution and 1,461 at 2K resolution, the Wave is incredibly fast. It can even shoot up to 9,259fps at smaller frame sizes for scientific applications. How fast is it?

Maximum FPS varies by resolution, but for typical cinema resolutions:

4K (4096×2176) – 422fps
2K (2048×1088) – 1,461fps
For scientific applications, by selecting a smaller frame size, Wave can shoot at up to 9,259fps (2048×128). Users can also dial in exact frame rates or use external triggers to synchronize Wave to a rotating or vibrating subject to act as a visual oscilloscope.
