Overview
The Leitz HEKTOR lenses are a series of six full frame prime lenses that support multiple formats through user-interchangeable mirrorless mounts (E, L, RF, Z). The focal lengths are 18, 25, 35, 50, 73 and 100mm, all at T2.1. Each lens is fully manual with matched focus and iris ring spacing for quick lens changes. The 120° focus rotation makes them easy to work with by hand as well. The lenses are compact and lightweight with an 80mm diameter (all) and a 77mm screw-in filter thread (except the 18mm).

SEARCHING FOR THE LOOK
We sought out the look of these lenses through the past 100+ years of optics from Leica and others, especially the 1930s, 50s and 70s, assembling a combination of attributes that looks gorgeous on digital sensors, fulfills the needs of modern productions, and exhibits a playful character that keeps the subject the star.
A SPIRIT OF CREATIVITY
Built in the spherical-only style of the ‘80 and ‘90s, HEKTOR lenses offer a lower resolution centre that falls off toward the edges while a gentle Petzval effect pulls the viewer in without being distracting. New coatings provide Leitz’s trademark natural/warm temperature and allow for colourful flares while holding contrast across the frame.
