Overview
The Profoto D30 is a mains-powered monolight with 11 f-stops flash capacity, a recycling time of 0.01-0.7 seconds, and a bi-color LED modeling light. It has a compact, lightweight, and sturdy design, with ECO, Boost, and Freeze flash modes. The D30 is compatible with Profoto AirX and all Profoto 100mm light shapers, and can be used with an optional handle.
The D30 is versatile and reliable, suitable for a variety of photo sessions, from product and fashion to portraiture. It is easy to set up and use, with an intuitive interface and AirX connectivity for remote control. About the Profoto D30 Monolight
The Profoto D30, a mains-powered monolight, drives diverse days forward.
The compact and lightweight design combined with excellent flash consistency and bi-color modeling light makes the D30 a reliable monolight, capable of enabling a variety of photo sessions. All from product and fashion to portraiture, in the studio or on location, choice speaks the loudest when it comes to the D30. With a flash range of 11 f-stops, the D30 is an adaptable light, fit for every situation, as a main light or to illuminate a sliver of an object.
The D30 is easy to set up, and with its intuitive interface, you can start shooting immediately. The AirX connectivity allows you to have full control directly from the remote on the camera or from the Profoto apps.
There are three different flash modes to choose from; ECO for color consistency and increased equipment lifetime, Boost for a little extra power, and Freeze for the shortest flash duration and elimination motion blur.
The D30 comes with a bi-color LED modeling light. This bright and energy-efficient light has an adjustable color temperature and video-quality color rendering. It can be used as a continuous light in some situations when just a touch of light is needed, and thanks to the adjustable color temperature, it is easy to adapt it to the surrounding light. The D30 is compatible with the wide range of Profoto 100 mm light modifiers, and thanks to its sturdy construction, even the largest light modifier can be used.
