Overview
The Sony FX6 baseplate and top plate with handle (FX6BT) is a versatile and practical accessory for your camera. It includes a baseplate with an Arri rosette, shoulder mount, and 15 mm rod system, as well as a top plate and left handle with Push-Button technology. The front to back sliding plate allows for weight distribution and matches your cameras optical center. The shoulder pad is made of slip-free material and there are protective rubber pads to keep your camera safe. The baseplate also comes with a sophisticated tool box to store extra screws and an Allen key, as well as a quick release adapter plate for VCT tripod plate mount.
The Follow Focus Pro (FFPRO) is a professional follow focus unit designed with 15 mm SHAPE patented Push-Button technology. It features 2 points of articulation for horizontal and vertical adjustments, and can be combined with the SHAPE FX6 top plate (FX6TP). The FFPRO can be mounted on one side only with the SHAPE rod clamp 15 mm (15CTH), making it perfect for drone and gimbal applications. Made of CNC aluminium, it is both sleek and reliable.

The Push-Button Viewfinder Mount for Sony FX6 is designed with a 15 mm rod and 2 Push-Button for horizontal, vertical, and transversal adjustments. By simply pressing the SHAPE patented push-button, you are allowed a 360-degree rotation to place your view finder in the best position for your use. Push, adjust, release, and then it’s locked. Also, the rod clamp with ratchet knob allows you to slide the bracket for a perfect viewfinder distance adjustment.
Follow Focus Pro (FFPRO)
Manufactured in sleek black aluminium anodized, this special edition professional follow focus unit combines sleek look with trusted engineering and a classic design. The SHAPE Follow Focus Pro is an industry workhorse and has already proven itself on countless tough shoots all over the world, so you needn’t worry about it letting you down. SHAPE engineering is internationally renowned and there is one of the most robust motion picture accessories ever built. It mounts on 15 mm rods and features an adjustable arm which puts the gear at the optimal position for the lens, no matter what the diameter is. The unit snaps onto 15 mm rods, allowing for quick attachment, removal, and repositioning. Two 0.8 pitch gears come included and give you a choice of either 28 teeth or 43 teeth – depending on the throw distance of the lens. Additional features include two adjustable hard stops, removable marking disc, and an industry standard accessory port for using optional whips and cranks. While the Follow Focus Pro contains the essentials for pulling focus on any type of project production, the choice of either 15 mm rod adaptors means that you can SHAPE the system to meet your particular requirements.
Matte box 4×4 (MATT44)
The SHAPE 2-Stage 4 x 4″ Matte Box accepts lenses with up to a 105 mm front outside diameter. The main frame made of carbon fiber. It mounts to 15 mm LWS rods and utilizes a swing-away design, which lets you perform quick lens changes without having to remove the matte box from your rods. You can adjust the height of the matte box in relation to the rods, which comes in handy when your lens center to rod center height is slightly off from the standard. Two rotating filter stages support the use of 4×4″ filters. The matte box comes with a top flag (eyebrow), side flags, six matte box donuts in 65, 77, 85, 88, 100 and 105 mm sizes, and (1) elastic donut. The matte box also has a rear opening of 100 mm for lenses.
The included anti-reflection donuts prevent light behind the camera from reflecting off any filters in the matte box and degrading the image. Included with the matte box are anti-reflection donuts for lenses with a front outside diameter of 65, 77, 85, 88, 100, 105 mm. The included elastic donut supports lenses with a front outside diameter between 65 and 105 mm, and it is especially useful with lenses that grow and shrink as you change focus or zoom. The side flags incorporate a hook design as a safety feature where they attach to the matte box. This helps prevent them from falling out of the matte box should the lockdown thumbscrew loosen accidentally. The swing-away bracket incorporates a height adjustment, enabling you to compensate a total of 0.65″ vertically. This allows you to use this matte box with a variety of camera/rod support combinations that may vary slightly from the industry standard 85 mm distance from LWS rod center to lens port center.
