OVERVIEW
This kit includes everything you need to control your RED® ​​KOMODO® or RED® V-RAPTOR™ (DSMC3™) camera with the Indie 7. The monitor features hyper-responsive touchscreen technology with 1000nits of brightness for daylight visibility. With the included software license (QR Code Card), you can unlock access to camera control for RED® ​​KOMODO® and DSMC3™ cameras and easily adjust internal camera settings using the intuitive touchscreen configuration tools. The kit also includes a RED® EXT 9-pin to SmallHD 5-pin USB Camera-Control Cable (18in/45cm) and a Micro USB to 5-pin Lemo Adapter for full tethering and camera accessibility. Please note that the camera and SDI cable are not included.

If you already own Komodo Control, you can expand your control capabilities by downloading the latest firmware for your monitor at https://downloads.smallhd.com. The monitor also features PageOS 4 Software Toolset, which allows you to access all camera features available through RED Camera Protocol (RCP2). You can also use user page presets, Focus Assist, frame guides, 4K HDR (PQ) waveforms, improved false colour, Colour Pipe log conversion, and more. Additionally, you can monitor camera metadata, timecode, and start/stop flags. The monitor has a full HD 7-inch IPS LCD with 1920×1200 resolution and 10-bit colour processing in 100% Rec 709. It is 4K and HDR compatible with a 160-degree viewing angle. The versatile I/O includes 1x 3G-SDI, 1x 3G-SDI In/Out, 1x HDMI 2.0, and 1x Micro USB input, and 1x 3G-SDI and 1x HDMI 2.0 output. The monitor can be powered using the 2mm barrel connector port, the included Sony L-Series dual battery bracket, or optional Gold Mount and V-Mount battery plate attachments (sold separately). The monitor is housed in a rugged and lightweight anodised aluminium chassis with a featherlight weight of 1.1lbs (.53kg) and an ultrathin body width of 1.2in (3.35cm).
