Overview
The SmallRig Cage Kit for Sony FX6 4124 is a perfect addition to the Sony FX6 camera. It is designed to be lightweight and compact, making it easy to attach accessories and provide protection. The kit consists of a top plate, V-mount battery plate, side plate, baseplate, and power cable, all of which seamlessly match the design and color of the Sony FX6.
The kit also includes various threaded holes, locating holes, and a cold shoe mount for attaching additional equipment such as a microphone, image transmitter, or monitor. The V-mount battery plate and power cable provide an extra power source for extended shooting time. The removable side plate can be positioned near the back to leave room for the original handle and support accessories, or near the front to help balance the camera for vertical shooting. Additionally, the baseplate offers better protection against overheating compared to a quick-release plate. Assembly and disassembly are made easy with the included tools.

SmallRig Cage Kit for Sony FX6 4124 is lightweight, compact, and designed to attach accessories and provide protection. It consists of a top plate, a V-mount battery plate, a side plate, a baseplate, and a power cable. Overall, the kit fits in well with Sony FX6 in terms of the design appearance, and colour. Among these parts, the rear V-mount battery plate together with the power cable attaches the battery for an extra power source for prolonged operating time. It can be slid up and locked to facilitate memory card replacement and BP-U battery installation. The removable side plate, when mounted near the back, leaves room for the original handle and supports the microphone, image transmitter, etc.; and, when mounted near the front, helps balance the camera in vertical shooting. And the baseplate performs better than a mere quick-release plate in protecting the camera from overheating. Besides, a slotted screwdriver and a hex spanner are included for easy assembly and disassembly.
