Overview
The RB-DA6 is a 1U rack-mount distribution amplifier that is designed for high performance and can split a source into multiple outputs. It has 1 stereo input and 6 stereo outputs, but can also be configured to distribute 1 mono input to 12 outputs with the use of a recessed switch on the front panel to prevent accidental changes.
The XLR-3 inputs and outputs of the RB-DA6 are electronically balanced and can be wired unbalanced. Each output is individually buffered, ensuring that a short circuit on one output will not affect the others. The front panel also features pre-set potentiometers for left and right input gain control, as well as the ability to adjust output gain from -8dB to 18dB. This is particularly useful for normalizing consumer and professional signals to achieve outputs of -15dBu and 0dBu respectively.
