Overview
The remote control panel for studio system cameras has been improved with a higher resolution LCD display and the addition of touch panel capability. This allows for easier navigation and control of the camera settings.
The number of assignable switches, indicators, and encoder controls has also been increased, providing more flexibility and customization options. Additionally, the LAN connection has been upgraded to 1000BASE-T, allowing for faster and more reliable communication.
Another new feature is the external I/O D-Sub 9pin connector, which has the capability of “Call Out” to add the “Call” indication externally. This makes it easier for operators to communicate with each other during a shoot.
The direct menu selection for CAM/CCU/BPU menus has been made even more convenient with the addition of an “Enter” control button, making it much easier than using the touch panel by moving a finger. And for even more convenience, the USB memory can now be used to save and copy settings, as well as for firmware upgrades, eliminating the need for a Memory Stick.
