The Super-Blimp Kit is a top-of-the-line solution for reducing handling noise and wind noise interference. It features the patented Lyre® technology from Rycote, which is renowned in the broadcast industry for its ability to drastically reduce handling noise. Additionally, the Rycote basket windshield provides excellent wind noise protection while maintaining superior acoustic transparency. The basket itself has a sleek profile, measuring only 41cm x 10cm (16” x 4”), making it compact and easy to handle. The quick release windshield pods allow for fast access and the kit also includes a lightweight boom adaptor and pistol grip handle for added convenience.

Designed specifically for the Rode NTG series of microphones, the Super-Blimp Kit is compatible with all current models. It features a premium, lightweight short XLR connector, similar to the one used in Rycote’s flagship ‘Cyclone’ model. The kit also comes with a genuine Rycote Windjammer for added protection against wind noise. Please note that the microphone itself is not included with the kit.
