Overview
The ML-32D is a high-quality analogue-Dante-analogue converter that can transfer up to 32 line-level audio channels over an Ethernet network. It features two LAN connectors for redundancy, flexible routing with the “Dante Controller” software, and supports AES67 for compatibility with other audio network technologies. The unit also has various indicators and switches for operation and level settings, and can be mounted in a 19-inch rack.

The ML-32D uses Dante technology, which allows for high-performance audio distribution over IP networks with low latency and accurate synchronization. It also offers options for fixed installation or live music/studio applications with breakout boxes. With a sampling rate of up to 96 kHz and 24 bit resolution, this converter is suitable for a wide range of applications in consumer, professional, and broadcast environments.

About the Tascam ML-32D 32-Channel Converter
The ML-32D is a compact, high-quality analogue-Dante-analogue converter designed to transfer 32 analogue audio channels over a Dante network in both directions. Space-saving 25-pin D-sub connectors are provided for use with optional breakout boxes to input and output balanced, line-level analogue audio signals. Two Ethernet connectors (Dante Primary/Secondary) are available for redundant operation using two separate networks.

This unit features indicators for operation status and current sample rate as well as overload LEDs for each input and signal LEDs for each input and output. Switches on the rear side allow the user to set the required maximum input/output level. Any other settings, such as sampling frequency, channel routing or latency, can be made by the freely available “Dante Controller” computer application.

Dante is a network technology by Audinate offering high-performance audio distribution over standard IP networks. It supports hundreds of simultaneous channels of uncompressed audio with ultra-low latency and accurate synchronization.
