About the Vinten Versine 240 flowtech100 GS Tripod System
Versine™ 240 is the professional fluid head built for mobility. Engineered for roaming camera positions in live and field production, it delivers the smooth control and reliable balance operators need, without the bulk. Compact, tough, and easy to carry, it’s made for crews who move fast and shoot live.

Versine 240 supports payloads up to 25 kg (55 lb), ideal for 40x zoom lenses and RF setups used with monocular viewfinders. Its compact chassis is lightweight enough for field work, but tough enough for demanding productions – perfect for roaming OB setups, live events, and ENG positions. Perfect Balance™ technology ensures smooth positioning at any tilt angle, and TF30 Drag delivers exceptionally steady framing for long lens operation, while still allowing fast whip pans. All controls stay in a fixed position on the left side, so adjustments are quick and instinctive.

This system combines the Versine 240 with the world’s fastest tripod, flowtech®100, in a portable ENG configuration. The award-winning 2-stage 100 mm carbon fibre tripod features unique quick release brakes at the top for instant, effortless height adjustment, and a versatile hinge lock mechanism that enables use without a spreader for ultra-low and high shots. Its lightweight carbon fibre design makes flowtech comfortable to carry, whether on the shoulder or with the carry handle, while magnetic leg locks keep it securely closed on the move. The system also includes a ground spreader for maximum stability on flat surfaces and a wheeled, rigidised soft case for transportation.

Versine 240 is built to last. Its all-metal construction and broadcast-grade components deliver strength and dependability. Tested in the most punishing environments, flowtech100 surpasses Vinten’s stringent performance targets. The Versine 240 flowtech100 system is not just powerful and fast to deploy, it’s engineered to withstand the realities of professional field production – day after day, location after location.
