Overview
The 17″ Quasar prompter is a versatile tool suitable for use in various settings such as location shoots, studio setups, and virtual studios. Its lightweight design makes it easy to rig, and it can also be used for robotic and PTZ camera setups with the Fusion PTZ rigging and optional “French Hood”. The slimline design allows for improved on-camera tilting, and it has automatic signal detection for VGA, PAL/NTSC composite video, DVI, and SDI inputs. For remote operation, the prompter also has an IP input option and can be upgraded with Portaprompt’s WinDigi IP software.
The prompter features LED backlights for lower power consumption and does not use fans, making it completely silent during use. It also offers options for under-slung talent monitors, studio clocks, and tally numbers. The compact all-metal hood and reflector make it ideal for on-the-go productions, and it comes with a 3-year warranty for added peace of mind. About the Portaprompt 17 Inch Quasar Broadcast Prompter
17” Quasar prompter from our broadcast range is an ultra slim, TFT, flat panel prompting “Head-up” Prompting Monitor using a high bright 4 x 3 aspect ratio 1500 Nits panel.
A high performance, compact, lightweight, robust, colour, mirroring display which have been designed for the rigours of our hire department so you can rely on these displays giving years of service.
They use our ENG / EFP quick release clamp system to allow rapid rigging on and off camera making it easy to change the camera shot and can also use our Fusion rigging for PTZ camera rigging.
Composite video, DVI, SDI and VGA inputs are as standard with options for IP connections for remote production workflows.
